Jan and Ian Teague, 2009 OYHFS Humanitarian Award winners, visited our Carson Group Home on December 9 to have dinner with the boys. The day before their visit, they donated a beautiful Christmas tree they had purchased at the Torrance Memorial Hospital's annual Festival of Trees event. Accompanied by Advisory Board members Barbara Moore and Adriana Orlando, the Teagues and Sil Orlando interacted with the boys who thanked them for all they do for OYHFS and each boy spoke about what brought them to Optimist and their future plans. It was a grand time for all!
